New Transformers Series Coming to Cartoon Network
By James A. on June 25th, 2007
Cartoon Network and Hasbro join forces to create “Transformers Animated,” which will premiere in 2008
Press Release: The Transformers saga has captivated kids for more than 20 years. Coming on the heels of the highly anticipated live-action theatrical film being released July 3rd, by DreamWorks Pictures and Paramount Pictures, Cartoon Network and Hasbro, Inc. are announcing today that the next generation of the epic animated series is being jointly developed by the two entities for a 2008 debut on the network in the U.S. The eye-popping 2-D animated series is a new twist on the original high-octane, animated action-adventure series with new characters alongside legends such as Optimus Prime and Megatron. Each episode will present a stand-alone story line featuring everyday heroes who do good deeds that triumph over evil. “Transformers Animated” series will be co-produced by Cartoon Network Studios.
Twenty-six, half-hour episodes will be produced as well as a 90-minute special of “Transformers Animated,” which is scheduled for release in early 2008 on Cartoon Network in the U.S. Matt Youngberg (”Teen Titans,” “The Batman”) is the supervising director, Derrick Wyatt (”Teen Titans”) will provide the character designs and Sam Register (”Ben 10,” “Teen Titans”) will serve as executive producer of the series. Marty Isenberg (”Danny Phantom,” “X-Men,” “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”) acts as head writer.
“We are thrilled to be working with the highly creative team at Cartoon Network on bringing the next chapter in the Transformers saga to kids and fans around the world,” said Brian Goldner, Hasbro’s Chief Operating Officer. “The animation style that Cartoon Network has developed really brings the lore and characters of the Transformers franchise alive in a way that has never been seen through animation.”
“Transformers is a tried and true draw for our core audience,” said Bob Higgins, senior vice president programming and development, Cartoon Network. “Kids love the surprise of ‘More Than Meets the Eye,’ combined with dynamic, clearly defined characters and epic story lines. We are thrilled to be working with Hasbro to help re-imagine this amazing franchise for a new generation of fans.”
Set on Earth in the near future in Detroit, the alien Transformers are thrust into a world populated by humans and automatons. As visitors to Earth, the Transformers — Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Prowl, Bulkhead and Ratchet — work in the human world, interacting with the “natives” in exciting and humorous ways. “Transformers Animated” has been created to showcase the heroic Autobots working together to battle the evil Decepticons and save Earth with kid-relatable plot lines filled with humor, distinctive character personalities, and dynamic action.
Hasbro and HPG, its licensing division, will expand the action-packed “Transformers Animated” series through toys, games, licensed merchandise and promotions around the world.

Judging by the image of the new series, it looks lame. The robots look far too human-like.
Transformers is about humanoid robots that transform into vehicles, and you can recognize which vehicle the humanoid transforms into. The movie makes a pretty drastic departure from this, but it makes them more realistic, it increases the detail. This new cartoon image removes detail. Optimus Prime’s wheels aren’t even showing and the robot faces look like animals, instead of robots.
My take: can it before you waste any more money on it. Teen Titans is not a good model to base Transformers on, Transformers has its own animated history and it should not stray from that. But then nobody pays attention to common sense these days, so we’ll get another POS cartoon and the Cartoon Network will waste even more money and take up even more time and still not get me watching it.

Is it just me, or does this really, really suck? I haven’t really been happy with the designs from the live-action movie and now we get…this?
It looks like some kinda cheesy 90’s-era superhero show that Playmates toy company would have produced, LOL.
July 6th, 2007 at 5:53 am
I would say it is just a little bit pathetic. But this is not what I really want to say,WHERE THE HELL IS IRONHIDE FOR GOD’S SAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
July 6th, 2007 at 11:46 am
The images look incredibly bad. Characters look like buffed up body builders when they are meant to be robots!! How can something so round transform into those square vehicles. bring back the old charaters and keep it like the original.
July 6th, 2007 at 8:22 pm
“Hey Justice League, the Mighty Orbots just buzzed. They need their Exo-Bodies back.”
The only thing going against the series (If this IS indeed a negative’) is the derivative, “seen it”, suedo-anime look which is now widely known among artists & cartoon connoisseurs as the ‘animated’ style. (Which how we best remember the original 2D Transformers cartoon right?)
Perhaps its not too late for the animators to still build on the nice stylization and create a more unique look appropriately mechanoid and animator-friendly. (This stuff IS hand-drawn right!?) WB’s first Loonatics concept art was really whack-out before they recovered some of the Looney Tunes character’s heritage and improved the design.
Well, time will tell …
July 6th, 2007 at 8:35 pm
This series looks very terrible.
July 6th, 2007 at 11:40 pm
Ok we are a group of guys who are old fans of transformers. Though we are adults and don’t watch cartoons anymore (since most are lame). We were wondering why ? Why are you guys F–ing up a classic with cheese. C’mon! The art work suck, I know its cartoon network but that doesn’t mean you have to make everything look like dexter’s labarotry. What happen to the art work of the 80’s catoons like GI Joe, M.A.S.K, Transformers, You know like art work that looks more believable and mature yet fun for those young kids and their censoring parents?
July 7th, 2007 at 1:24 am
To tell the truth for this series, I like the old series better than this one. But you can’t judge its book by its cover I mean, maybe they may come up with better…….episodes maybe. Who knows?
July 7th, 2007 at 1:27 am
-_-……..um, maybe just put the old series, I changed my mind.
July 8th, 2007 at 2:05 pm
The movie was awesome! Don’t mess it up with yet another crappy tv series. This new series looks to be the worst yet. Bring the G1 Characters back and stop lallygagging around.
July 10th, 2007 at 3:42 am
Yup,I didn’t watch the old series anyway.
July 10th, 2007 at 1:47 pm
The only thing that is giving me any semblance of hope on this new series is the rather stellar voice cast. Some of the original voices from G1 including the reprised roles of Shockwave and Arcee as well as one of my favorite voice actors Phil Lamar doing the voice of Jazz which is an excellent choice. But there is also supposedly a garbage truck character to be voiced by none other than Weird Al Yankovic? Anyways other than that I totally agree that the animation looks horrible and the character designs are craptacular. Did we not learn the lesson from Transformers R.I.D. that Optimus Prime was not meant to be a fire truck. It looks way too much like an anime show but my hope is that they will at least cut out a lot of the human interaction and 3-D computer stuff that is pretty much what ruined Armada, Energon, and Cybertron for me.
July 11th, 2007 at 10:51 am
EVERYBODY is right, bring back the old TRANSFORMERS.ALL that other stuff with the kids suck. Optimus Prime is the leader of the autobots.Wy is a kid telling him what to do.Start from the old series. Then where it stop at, begain a new series. That would be a good cartoon series.
July 13th, 2007 at 6:00 pm
Coolest thing ever - and it sounds great too!
July 13th, 2007 at 10:35 pm
I just saw the movie and thought it was awesome. The I came home and watched a couple of the original episodes online, then saw this site. Honestly I think the idea of having a new Transformers series is GREAT! I would watch it for sure, but I have to agree with the majority of the other comments here. The quality of the animation in the new series may be clearer than the original, but the style needs to go back to the old school version. New animation styles are great for some shows but when it comes to a classic don’t bastardize it…PLEASE!!
July 15th, 2007 at 4:28 pm
what the hell are they thinking this is the worst thing that has been done to transformers yet. the movie rocked but this is too much for me this disgusts me soo much i desire to vomit i have spent hundreds of dollars to my dedication to transformers and this is what happens. what the hell are yall thinking hasbro? stupid buzz lightyear teen titan designs. i hope this series has no success.
July 19th, 2007 at 9:41 am
its like vandalizing a great piece of art. We want the old transformer back. im sure the new series of trasnformers would look alot like the powerpuff girls.
July 20th, 2007 at 6:28 pm
I’ll watch it at first (It at least needs a chance) but I must admit I’m not to hopeful for a great series. The whole thing about transformers is that Optimus primes is a great leader (Not a young leader still learning his way with followers who are not sure of him yet) and that they fight the deceptions. I really loved G1 and Armada so keep your hopes up ^.^
July 23rd, 2007 at 4:34 am
We agree with the majority!!!! Leave the animation in the 80s or make them like the new movie–so awesome, a real butt stomper to the other summer releases especially HP Order of the Phoenix. The new version chacaters look like crosses between Crimson Chin and monkeys. We can’t even see Optimus and the gang in there! We were really looking forward to the new generation, but we’ll barf if this is what comes out. Sending out a plea to Cartoon Network: Please don’t damage my optics with these drawings!
July 23rd, 2007 at 7:54 am
I will watch this travesty solely because of Marty Isenberg’s writing credit, but hold no more hope for it than many on this board. I CANNOT STAND Teen Titans for its hideous style, totally stolen from Anime and weirdly crammed into an American mold. It looks even worse on robots, and how dare they put Prowl’s name on yet another random ninja. I have HAD IT with the zarkin’ ninja already.
Why can Hasbro not get on the phone and beg Takara for the rights to the three great shows they made in Japan? Ready entertainment and I can’t think of any kids I know who own Star Saber or Lander or Browning, so there are some perfectly good toys to remake and sell, since they are a company and thus worried about the bottom line. I bet they even have to original mold running around Japan somewhere.
This is what happened to Star Trek. You update something to death, strip out any meaning for fans, and it doesn’t matter how many 6-year-olds you get, they’ll never replace the legions you lose…
July 25th, 2007 at 3:25 pm
…Um. I sort of feel like my intelligence is being insulted with this new series of Transformers. I mean, G1 was amazing! You cannot beat the classics, so it’s futile to try. And with the release of the new movie bringing all the characters into a more realistic and modern view, the audiences obviously will be craving something along the same lines- or otherwise be begging for the origional. NOT this crappy style of animation that is neither eye catching or interest drawing. Even the premise to the new series doesn’t even draw a spark of interest from me! I sincerely hope that the overseers in this project seriously reconsider what a blunder they are making with this- I am at least hoping that they reconsider the designs they are using. For God’s sake, some one out there should be listening to these complaints! If there is such an out pouring of dislike for such specific issuses of this new series, then it should be dealt with, hopefully fixed, and become more pleasing to the hard core fans out there screaming for rectification (or blood).
July 28th, 2007 at 11:14 am
This thing will suck more than anything else has ever sucked.
Sam Register’s an idiot that has brought the state of animation in this country down by 20 years.

Horibble. I mean just looking at the preview picture for the next gen animated cartoon makes me sick. Transformers are a legend and a legend they must remain . So guys if your gonna do anything. Stick to the original. Die hard fans would love to get the originals on DVD.
The new transformers look like stuffed animals or cuddle up dolls. What are they supposed to transform into? Soft toys? Please if you cant’ improve it don’t change it. it ain’t fair to ruin a legend like that in front of a new gen.
September 5th, 2007 at 9:10 am
this series is looking like the best for a long time with a cool theme tune which you can hear on youtube
September 5th, 2007 at 5:12 pm
oh dear LORD
Alright, so let me see if I got this straight.
Hasbro is apparently aware that the main bulk of their fanbase is 20 years of age or older.
Hasbro should aslo be aware that the movie that got them all this lovely money to spend was aimed at adults.
So they go out and use an animation style that most people dislike and are going to try and have a version of G1 aimed at a YOUNGER age group then ever before
…
Riiiiiiight.
Here’s a few hints; Hasbro/Cartoon Network:
1) Change the animation style, PLEASE.
2)Aim for older teens at least, not pre teens.
3) HAve the humans be SUPPORTING, not main characters and have as FEW humans as possible
4) IT’s been mentioned on this site before… contact Takara and get teh rights for the series of G1 that occured in Japan after the movie! Headmasters, etc.
5) Try re-releasing the REAL G1, perhaps with slightly more adult swing on the plot lines on your adult swim.
6) Did I mention changing the animation?

The new design sucks so bad. I wouldn’t even buy the toys when they come out. I think they should leave off with the Headmasters and find out what ever happened to Hot Rod and Kup. I would rather watch Masterforce in a different language. I hope they make changes to the designs. What is is going to take to change their minds. This sucks bad.
October 19th, 2007 at 9:41 pm
THIS SUCKS, JUST PUT BACK THE ORIGINAL ‘84 SERIES, AND IF THEY WANT TO MAKE A NEW ONE, IT SHOULD LOOK AT LEAST ROBOT-SHAPE
October 21st, 2007 at 1:22 am
This is going to be shit… Why molest an important part of 80’s pop-culture? Im dissapointed that “TRANSFORMERS” has come to this. I would like to bitch slap whoever came up with this animation. Keep this crap away from the kids!
October 23rd, 2007 at 10:26 pm
Lets all get together and recreate the G1 characters and plot and show them how it should be.
October 24th, 2007 at 12:39 pm
Here’s more proof that Hasbro shouldn’t call any of the shots anymore when making Transformers for the screen. Let our Japanese friends at Takara do it right.
They rarely mess up. Hasbro after that sad attempt for a new action movie last summer appears to have lost all form of self respect or any for their audience as well for that matter to say the least!
Japanese animators know how to make good character designs. Hasbro doesn’t. The characters in the action movie all looked like a jumbled chewed up mess of parts when they transformed if you were able to identify them apart.
Most Transfans I think wanted to see their favorite characters again from the 1980’s on the big screen. Instead they just got some kind of “Generation 3 Action Master” Nightmare you could say.
I suspect Hasbro’s real agenda with this new animated series of human looking Transformers is just an attempt to sell more action figures that don’t transform. Saves them a buck or two to say the least. Hasbro appears to have been blinded with greed much like too many of the greedy corporate giants of today. They show a very large lack of respect for their customers and dishonor them. The Japanese and Takara never appear to have this bad a problem.

This is the worst drawing ever!!!
November 9th, 2007 at 1:34 am
These drawings are just shitty. I hate it! I am going to vomit they look like apes! STICK With the original! If your gonna make the robots look like this, do not put Grimlock in it, because if I see my character get butchered, I am gonna raise some hell!!! I’m truly saddened that for all of our loyalty to the franchise over the years, we’re given such a bitch slap. We might as well re-invent them as robot zombies and have them fight Count Chocula with the help of Toucan Sam. I will NOT follow my nose to this dung heap.
November 16th, 2007 at 10:31 pm
okay, I’m a kid who has seen ALL of the american transformers series, and if they come out with this i am going to loose it. the animation is TERRIBLE. i always thought if they came out with a new series, it would be a continuation of the Cybertron series and have something to do with the space bridge project. not this!!!

this is the worst I havve seen in a long time, did anyone see how they drew the humans in this cartoon, trust me it looks like crap. Ilike to draw to and I am pretty good at it, but this looks like a couple of kids drew it, please change it
December 4th, 2007 at 7:29 pm
First i agree that Hasbro is blinded by greed and those things that they are trying to pass off as transformers are horrible! The movie released over the summer was not bad. I have been a fan of transformers for a long time. I thought the autobots looked awsome. If you were just talking about the decepticons, then i would agree with you. They should use the 1980’s version. That would be awsome.
December 9th, 2007 at 1:42 pm
they need to get ther animaters together and make it realistic
its killing g1

Man another Transformers to embarrass the Legend of Transformers. I rather watch the old school Transformers Generation 1. At less they don’t have poor drawn characters. Like this new one.

Y ARE U TRYING TO MAKE A JOKE OUT OF TRANSFORMERS, I MEAN U CAME OUT WITH A BOMB ASS MOVIE THAT BLEW THE ANIMATED MOVIE OUT OF THE WATER(NOT TO COMPLAIN BECAUSE I LIKED THE THAT ONE TOO) AND NOW YOU COME OUT WITH THIS DISGRACE OF A CARTOON THAT DONT DERSERVE TO BE CALLED TRANSFORMERS. IF YOU WANNA MAKE THE TRUE TRANSFORMERS FANS HAPPY THEN ASK US HOW THEY SHOULD LOOK I BET THEY WOULD ALL SAY LIKE THE ORIGINALS BUT CREATE NEW CHARCTERS AND PUT IT IN HD OR SOMETHING BUT DONT THINK FANS ARE GONNA SUPPORT YOU JUST BECAUSE YOU CAME OUT WITH ANOTHER CARTOON ME MYSELF I’D RATHER WATCH THE ORIGINAL SERIES AT LEAST THEY LOOK MORE LIKE TRANSFORMERS!!!!
December 21st, 2007 at 6:13 pm
GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL TRANSFORMERS.
December 28th, 2007 at 9:17 pm
I don’t understand……………why does everyone(Hollywood) feel the need to put a new twist on everything that is being redone. The first spiderman wasn’t half bad then it became all about Mary Jane and the last one was so emotional I had to leave because there was somebody crying in every scene. Much like Transformers movie I slept for the first part untill the autobots landed. ACTION, ACTION, ACTION. That is why we watch these shows, and don’t insult our intelligence, although these characters aren’t real, we still know that a robot can’t sport a 28″ waist and transform into a “fire truck” rediculous. This is shameful.
December 28th, 2007 at 9:21 pm

January 14th, 2008 at 11:50 pm
I was bored and watced this show when it premeired on cartoon network and i couldnt be more pissed. Basically they befriend the humans and become well known super heroes. This completely kills the whole point of robots in disguise the main basis of the damn show. Artwork sux and was a disgrace for a good classic show
January 17th, 2008 at 4:27 pm
Why why why why why do they continue to give “us”…the Transformer fans lame shows. As good as the origanl show was. They still diddn’t care about are love for the stroy line. They continued to reck it all by trying to get us to by toys.Myself and other people that I have spoken to agree that the origanl episodes should be re-done!!!But this time, more realistic, done in one hour episodes, when a transformer dies HE DIES,if you know the entire transformer storyline Optimus Prime dies like 4 times, Hot Rod goes from Rodimus back to Hot Rod a couple times too,Grimlock leads for awhile after the Matrix is concidered dead after Optimus Prime killed the re-formed Unicron in an incredable battle over Cybertron, Galvatron dies then becomes Ultra Megatron, then back to normal Megatron. So what i’m saying is…SOMEBODY…ANYBODY with the money and power in the TV world…Please make us a good Transformer show that the REAL TRANSFORMER FANS can enjoy!!!
January 20th, 2008 at 12:39 pm
This series is not bad at all. And I’m a huge fan of the original. I think we all need to look at this as something new. Much like an alternate universe in any comic book: this new storyline offers a neat look at the universe.
I love the idea of the original series being an ancient war. And the merging of Ratchet and Kup was genious.
I can understand why original fans will be upset. But my son and I will continue to enjoy this new series, and its strange but welcome changes.
January 20th, 2008 at 12:41 pm
and just for the record: the original series was poorly animated, poorly voiced, and over advertized. So no difference there with the new series.
Stop fearing change. New is always different, but that doesn’t make it bad.
January 20th, 2008 at 10:04 pm
My 5 year old loves the NEW show as much if not more than the older shows. The animation is much improved and the storylines are great. I enjoy watching it with him also. His favorite charater is bumblebee and he takes his little series 7 transformer cars everywhere with him. As for the 45 year olds complaining about the show maybe they should move on to an adult show and stop complaining about a show geared towards children. My child and his friends would be devastated if it got cancelled due to some whiny loser typing from his parents basement. I loved the movie also but I am saving it for him to watch when he is a little older.
January 30th, 2008 at 11:07 am
If the kids like this new show and watch it everyday?…COOL..keep it going!!!!! The real transformer fans just want to see their hero’s come to life.THATS ALL MOST OF US WANT.When they made the Superman movie in the 70’s and if they would have said….”hey this is a movie we need to make superman look different than he does in the comic books” people would have not gone to see it…why do they make the transformers look different?.What the heck was the STUPID CUBE..I don’t live in my parents basment,I’M NOT CLOSE TO 45,and I work at a school.I’m not a teacher but all the kids at my school think this new transformer show is very lame, and would rather see the origanal on tv.Actually I know lots of kids that think this show is lame and like the other one better. Also my son would much rather watch my old collection than that new one anyday….I think that idea about a transformer show with one hour episodes is a great idea!!!I Make it a serious show. In my opinion they need to pay more attention to the actual transformer fans than making new ones.If they actually make a transformer show that they know the real fans will like. The new ones will come……….If you liked the movie and this new cartoon…your not a true transformer fan..you can be a fan..but not a TRUE one.
January 30th, 2008 at 11:16 am
Change is fine…But when they change my hero into something else!! But they try to tell you its still him but looks nothing like him…No I will not allow that…Imagine if they desided to give superman a mask…Just to have change.
January 30th, 2008 at 11:17 am
At least in the New cartoon Prime looks alittle like PRIME!!!…sorta?
February 28th, 2008 at 2:05 pm
Alright - let’s get a perspective - this is a show for kids (little kids) - my 4 year old loves the new cartoon!!
March 6th, 2008 at 6:35 pm
This is, hands down, the SHITTIEST animation I have ever seen. Sure, the above image looks alright, but when you get to the animation part, everything looks like suped up Powerpuff GIrls Animation.
Since when was Optimus a Firetruck? ANd why the hell are the dinobots featured as being ninja/samurai warrior wannabe’s?
I’m sorry, but this whole Cartoon Network stylized bullshit has got to go.
The character’s don’t even look like robots! THey look like people wearing body armor and funky helmets. Optimus’ arms look more like spandex and boxy gloves than robotic appendages.
Can we please get back to the fact that the transformers are “Robots in Disguise”? I mean, where the hell are Optimus Prime’s Wheels, for god’s sake?! In every transformers cartoon I’ve ever seen (Save for Beast Wars) Optimus has had wheels on the backs of his legs.
I sure as hell hope the toys don’t end up being as lame-ass as the show, or there are going to be some seriously pissed off transformer fans around the world. Myself being one of them.
Moral of the story?
Don’t cheapen the experience for new generations by taking the easy way out. If you’re gonna do this…do it right.

BTW, Hotmom…I’m 26, have my own place, pay my own bills, and am an artist. I know what I like, I know what a bastardization of an epic series looks like, too.
I’m sorry, but when you mess witha franchise that’s been arond since the 70’s, and you do THIS to it, oldschool fans are bound to get pissed. Nuff said.
So, if you wanna generalize, let’s see…you’re a whiny bitch whojsut uses the cartoon to keep your kids quiet.. you enjoy watching the show because you’re immature.
General and insulting enough for you?

I LOVE the transfromers series but when i watch the older series in the moring it was’nt the same. But still It teaches kids lessions. I still would says to people. Let go the old movies and series and get a better start at something new at the transfromers. At least it did’nt had the word “masterbatting” from the movie in the series.
I LOVE TRANSFROMERS!!Whoo hoo!!

THAT CRAP LOOKS TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IT LOOKS LIKE MECHANIZED POWER PUFF GIRLS! THAT GARBAGE NEEDS TO BE THROWN OUT AND CARTOON NETWORK NEEDS TO GET THEIR SH*T TOGETHER AND HELP BRING OUT SOME BETTER QUALITY ANIMATED TRANSFORMERS! THIS IS A COMPLETE DISGRACE TO THE GENRE!

This show is an absolute disgrace to the series! Why did they disrespect Optimus Prime? They have him reporting to Ultra Magnus who’s the top commander. There’s also some other jackass named Sentinel Prime who’s right under Ultra Magnus who constantly makes fun of Optimus! I can honestly say I won’t be sad when this one goes off the air.

I think that this is kind of like a continueing of the movie, but I can never forgive the producers for disgracing Optimus Prime like that and Sentinel Prime was supposed to be dead way back when while he was fighting Megatron
But I just hope that Ultra Magnus relinquishes his post and gives it to Optimus or at least gives him a higher position than Sentinel, I mean Sentinel is an arrogant, over confident pain in the ……..( you get the idea) and on top of that, he’s afraid of even touching organic life talk about a scardy bot! I just hope that Optimus’s reputation gets better than Sentinel’s

I have read the others comments and I have watched the movie as well as the cartoons, both new and old and I can say that I AM A TRUE TRANSFORMER FAN! and I have no idea on what the producers were thinking but we can always watch the old cartoons on youtube or else where, but if the kids of the next generation like this then fine but we can always show them the old cartoons and let them decide because it’s not really our choice to make, it’s theirs. We can always watch the old episodes and relive the past of when they were on TV. I speak from the heart on this.

i think the show is great, my 4 yr old son loves it….

I’ve already watched the series, and it’s not THAT bad. Sure the animation isn’t all that good, but was Energon ANY BETTER? To be honest i’d settle for this if i had the option between animated, energon, and universe. However, there is this one series i’ve always wondered if they would ever put on air. That good old comic series “War Within” I mean COM’ON that series has a good plot and amazing artwork! What about the other comic series as well, these random T.V. show ideas are not structured well enough! we need good material from imaginative minds. Not some crap (energon) that was just thrown together randomly and made a T.V. show!

This made me feel sorry that I was ever born.
If there is something worse than Twilight series, it would be the new Transformers Animated cartoon.

I thought the Series was actually pretty cool. Being a fan of Transformers from back in the day as well, It’s nice to have a new look on Transformers. Different plots, so on and so on. But my little boy watched it and fell in love with it. And getting past the “pre-set” transformer history we all have…it was a nice break. Watching for “easter eggs” and stuff is great too. My personal Favorite. Wreck-Gar….and they brought Weird Al to do the voice…who also did “Dare to be stupid” song for the Original 80’s movie. They throw these little things in there for the old school fans to smile about every once and a while. But seriously. . . could it have been passed over? Probably…but with the transformers movie coming out they had to cash in a little somewhere….and the toys were just as awesome!

TF:Cybertron was great for new animated tv series but now this new show just kills the original element.
