First George Lucas said “The Empire Strikes Back” was the worst “Star Wars” film. Now comes word that Shia LeBeouf will play Indy’s son in the new Indiana Jones movie. What the hell is George thinking? LeBeouf’s that curly-haired doofus in such Disney stinkers as “Holes,” “The Even Stevens Movie,” and “The Greatest Game Ever Played.” My enthusiasm for the movie just plummeted to an all-time low. I don’t know if Mr. George Lucas had a hand in casting LeBeouf, but it smells like Lucas. Hey, Georgie, how about casting an adult Short Round as Indy’s sidekick? I’m sure Jonathan Ke Quan is available and would work cheaply.
