I recently got to interview the lovely Anna, whose website nerdpr0n.com creates porn for the geeks of the world (thank you, Anna). She says she’d like “to change the world via porn.” Now, that’s a world I want to live in. But enough of my yakking. Here’s Blogzarro’s Geek Honey of February…

Favorite Movies: American Psycho, Pi, Spaceballs, Alice in Wonderland, O Brother Where Art Thou, and Triplets of Belleville are at the top of the list. I admit, though, I spend more time watching TV shows on DVD since I like what the epic storyline has given us so far — it really allows for fantastic plot development. Some of my favorite shows are Battlestar Galactica, Firefly, Robot Chicken, House, Family Guy and Deadwood.

Favorite Books & Comics: Favorite authors include Philip K. Dick, Ursula K. LeGuin, Charles Bukowski, Robert Heinlein, Milan Kundera, Neil Gaiman. Favorite comic book series include, in roughly that order: Transmetropolitan, Sandman, Fables, Y: The Last Man, Fell, Swamp Thing, Sin City.

Heroes: I guess that would include Dr. Manhattan from Watchmen. I think Superman is kind of a dick, though, and most of the Justice League is too goody-goody for me. I like my heroes nice and dark.

Hopes/Aspirations: To change the world via porn! To change how people look at sex, how they look at people and women as sexual objects, how they interact with each other, and how they treat nerds, geeks, and braniacs. Stereotypes are bad, mmmkay?

Geekiest Moment: Being recognized by the comic book guy.

How did you start nerdpr0n?
I just started a tiny little website for my friends to check out naked pics of me at, because I had already been snapping pics of me and having incredible amounts of fun, so I thought I’d take it a step further and make a Real Website. A few years later it’s really come a long way, as I’ve thought of more and more nifty features and added them.

Why mix nerdiness with porn?
I am a nerd, and that’s just who I am, and I refuse to do anything inauthentic, so it was sort of natural that my porn site would intersect with nerdiness. I dunno about you, but a great many of the nerds I know are highly sexual people, and that definitely includes me, so there you have it!

What type of response have you gotten from friends, visitors?
My friends have been fantastic and very supportive. The response was very much “wow…that WOULD be the kind of site you’d do.” And even the people who didn’t have a lot of respect for folks in the sex industry had to admit that it was a great new way of approaching sexuality. Visitors tend to love it, too — it tends to stand out amongst the parade of cum-guzzling sluts, you know? Some people would rather have porn with dignity, and it’s hard to find it sometimes, so my site is a real breath of fresh air.

What are your favorite outfits? Most requested outfits?
I put together geeky themed shoots and I’ve done everything from busting out costumes the old-fashioned way to covering myself in binary with a projector. I’ve got a fantastic Harley Quinn costume that I just did a shoot with a couple of months ago, and people loved that. I also have a Starfleet uniform, and that has gotten far more attention than any other outfit. I’ve done the schoolgirl thing, but I consider myself fortunate that I get to work outside of the schoolgirl stereotype.

I see that you are in college working on a degree in philosophy, what are your plans after school? Will you continue your site and work in the adult industry?
Well, as any philosophy major knows, it’s pretty impossible to do anything with a bachelor’s, so my plans are to pursue a graduate degree in cognitive science. I don’t really plan on becoming a professor — I’d like to do hands-on work — so veering off into a little bit of a different direction will keep me in the lab and out of the classroom. I will continue my site for as long as it’s fun, and the minute it stops being fun is the minute I shut it down. I value my sexuality far too much to allow myself to get burned out like that, and I think it also shows when a girl loves what she does.
