Does Stephen Colbert’s right ear freak you out, too?

Plenty of folks tell me that the show is hilarious, but I can’t get over that deformed ear. I keep staring at it. Wondering what the hell happened to it. And why no one talks about it!

Why doesn’t he grow his hair long? or wear a hat? or only show his left profile?
