George Lucas still isn’t done with STAR WARS. The director says he’s making an animated CLONE WARS series for television that could air next year. It will be a continuation of the Cartoon Network series that ran for 25 episodes from 2003 to ‘05.
The new series, which Lucas hasn’t sold to any network yet, takes place during a civil war between the Republic and separatists led by Count Dooku. It will include such characters as Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi, and be rendered in 3-D computer graphics.
